DONATE FOOD
We accept donations of non-perishable food items. Donations can be dropped at our building. We regularly have a collection cage in Sunbury Square (outside Coles) and also have drop points at Sunbury Library, Lake Imaging Sunbury and the Sunbury branch of Bendigo Bank.
Items we are regularly in need of are:
- Breakfast Cereals and Oats
- UHT Milk
- Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate
- Pasta, Rice, Noodles
- Biscuits / Crackers / Muesli bars
- Sauces, seasonings, cooking essentials like flour, oil and sugar
- Vegemite, Jam, Peanut Butter, Honey
- Tinned food – Soup, Fruit, Beans/Pulses
- Canned Vegetables
- Baked Beans, Spaghetti, Tuna
- Cup a soups
- Instant meals (Mac and Cheese, Taco Kits, Rice)
- Shampoo / Conditioner / Soap
- Toothpaste / Toothbrushes
- Nappies / Wipes
- Toilet paper
- Laundry detergent
VOLUNTEER AT CAREWORKS
We are always on the look out for new volunteers at CareWorks. We have a variety of roles including van delivery drivers, food sorting, hamper packing, cleaning, reception/admin duties and other support roles.
Volunteering your time is a very rewarding experience. You will meet new like-minded people, enjoy socialising, learn new skills, build your confidence and gain work experience. We are a small, diverse and passionate group of volunteers that always welcome new members to our team.
